Powering the Future: Scholarship-based online training on renewable energy integration and Power-to-X for energy professionals
On 16 April 2026, the MENALINKS eLearning training programme ‘Powering the Future – Renewable Energy Integration and Power-to-X (RE-PtX)’ will start as a 5-month online training for professionals from Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and Türkiye. The programme, implemented by MENALINKS’ consortium member Renewables Academy (RENAC), offers 75 fully funded scholarships and combines self-paced eLearning with live virtual classrooms to build skills in renewable energy integration and sector coupling.
To the application (deadline: 15th March 2026)The MENALINKS eLearning training programme addresses technical, regulatory and financial barriers to largescale renewable energy integration and sector coupling. The RE-PtX curriculum spans eight online courses and around 130 hours of study between April and September 2026.
The fully funded scholarship programme, limited to 75 training seats, is tailored to professionals working in energy, infrastructure, climate action, and utility markets in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and Türkiye with at least five years of relevant experience. Participants deepen their technical, operational, and financial skills to apply renewable energy integration and Power‑to‑X solutions in practice.
Key courses cover system integration of variable renewables, battery energy storage, Power-to-X applications and sector coupling across the topics of power, heating/cooling, and transport. Additional modules focus on artificial intelligence for renewable energy systems, sustainable urban cooling, and green hydrogen finance and risk management.
The training is delivered via RENAC’s online learning platform with flexible access to self-paced materials, interactive quizzes, discussion forums and live virtual classrooms. Successful participants who pass the final online examination receive a RENAC training certificate, demonstrating their gained skills and efforts to integrate the renewable energy sector in their careers.
