Publication: Gap Analysis on smart mini-grids

MENALINKS publishes Egypt’s smart mini-grids gap analysis report, identifying regulatory, policy and financial elements and outlining a roadmap for private-to-private development of smart mini-grids.

This report served as the foundation for Egypt’s newly published smart mini-grids regulatory package. It marks a significant milestone in our efforts to support Egypt’s energy transition by identifying regulatory, policy, and financial barriers to deploying smart mini-grid solutions.  The document has newly been approved for public access and provides methodological insights transferable to other contexts.
