"Nadia Mohamed Elmasry is a seasoned environmental expert specializing in climate change, sustainability, and environmental compliance. With over 15 years of experience spanning governmental, international, and private sectors, she has played a pivotal role in shaping environmental policies, capacity-building initiatives, and renewable energy projects across the Arab region. Currently serving as an Environmental and Climate Change Expert at the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), she provides technical and policy support to 17 Arab countries, focusing on climate adaptation, resilience, and sustainability strategies.
Nadia has held leadership positions as the Environmental Compliance Regional Director for HAS Group-Yemen, overseeing environmental standards across diverse industries. She has contributed extensively to national and regional projects, including waste management strategies, carbon footprint assessments, and sustainable cooling initiatives. Her expertise in institutional consultation, climate change mitigation, and policy development has been instrumental in advancing green economy solutions.
A board member of multiple climate-focused organizations, including the National Council of Climate Change and the Climate Change Center of Excellence, Nadia holds an Erasmus Mundus Master's Degree in Climate Change and Sustainable Management, alongside an MBA in Public Management and a PMP Certification. Passionate about knowledge sharing, she is a dedicated mentor and trainer, supporting green entrepreneurship and sustainability initiatives across academia and industry"
